Coconut Rum Painkiller

Coconut Rum Painkillers are a great rum, orange juice and pineapple Tiki Cocktail that is perfect for beating the heat!

In the mood for something a little darker to sip on this summer? Here's a light, creamy, and spicy cocktail that will liven up those hot summer nights. The Coconut Rum Painkiller is closely related to the Pina Colada but with a little more kick. This is a modern take on a classic drink where two types of rums are used to give the cocktail a more complex flavor. The original drink is a tropical cocktail from the Virgin Islands and has been highly sought out by tourists from around the world. I've had a few Coconut Rum Painkillers in my life, even a few in the Caribbean, and this recipe is by far the closest recipe I've tasted to the real thing. Enjoy!
